What an impressive picture it is! Vividly described in the picture are two men who look at the same scene with quite opposite views: one holds a pessimistic view saying that all is over with the wine flowing out of the fallen bottle, while the other one just considers it in an optimistic way proclaiming that there is still some wine in the overturned bottle and trying his best to pick it up.

Carefully studying this picture, we can learn that different people have different views on their life, either directly facing setbacks and adversities or defeated by them. Those who have positive views on their life can endeavor to bravely challenge any kind of tragedies. For example, Zhang Haidi, a heroic lady who lost her legs, can live on with strong will and high spirit, setting a good example for others with great sufferings in life to struggle for a better tomorrow. And of course, we can also take Sang Lan as a very good example to illustrate this point of view. As a famous athlete, unfortunately, she was paralyzed in a sport game by accident but she not only survived on with great determination but also made herself a speaker for 2008 Beijing Olympic Game. She herself looks at things positively no matter what kind of bitter life she is faced with. Therefore, she can live a life as a model for us to learn from.

From the argumentation above, we come to a conclusion that one’s attitude leads to one’s successful life. Being optimistic can make one more successful, while pessimism will make one always disappointed with his life, easily resulting in failures and losses. Therefore, we should strive to help people to develop a positive outlook on life and on the world. I am strongly convinced that only when we build up a right worldview can we achieve more rapid progress and even greater success in dealing with problems and achieving life successes.
